We were asked to renovate and design suitable furniture for a residence, at Agios Dimitrios, in Attica.
The existing design of the space was modern and minimal. In this environment, we had to add new furniture, some of them tailor made for the particular space and some others old pieces transformed so that they could give a sense of coherence and uniqueness to the wholeness.
Furthermore, an original need for multi-functional furniture and space dividers arose.
We decided, with the owner’s agreement, to design and construct a piece of furniture for vinyl records, which would also play the role of a lighting fixture, as well as multiple vases.
In addition, the small telephone cabinet is also used to hide plugs, cables and routers, in order to keep the space tidy and clean.
The room dividers as well as the coffee table are designed in such a way as to refer to Japanese aesthetics and give a sense of calmness and serenity.
