We were asked to renovate the Abariza Children’s Psychology and Speech Therapy Center, for the infant and young children’s department.
With the owner’s agreement, we decided to form a game of colors and shapes that would help the work of the specialist therapists and also enhance the children’s concentration.
Initially, we transformed the space using plasterboard partitions from a three-room space to a five-room space. This, as well as the colors of the Abariza center’s sign, gave us the opportunity to create a game of shades and shapes tailored to the children’s taste.
In addition, moving from one space to another, somebody can notice that one of the two basic colors used in the strange contructions of one room also jumps into the next one to form an even more special color combination, and so on.
The hidden lighting, the intermediate “short” doors and the imaginative volumes that form the children’s seats are just a few of the tricks used for a space that promotes children’s health and balance.
