From 2013 to 2016, the restoration of the funerary monument of the 4th century BC, located on the southernmost cape of Salamis, was completed.
It is a circular funerary enclosure of monumental construction, which contains four burials and a stone pedestal, on which the grave marker, visible even from the sea, was placed.
The enhancement of the monument included the restoration of the underlying material (rearranging the moved marbles in their original positions, according to the conclusions of their detailed mapping on a scale of 1/10, with criteria mainly their height, the levers and their slopes and adding new marbles in the positions of the lost ones), the shaping of the internal mound, the conservation and enhancement of the stoned graves, the study of rainwater runoff and the new fencing and development of the surrounding area.
